Reports
Published findings, and the protocols behind them
Every report opens with its key chart and a one-paragraph finding, and links to the dataset, the method and the preregistration. Where an organisation we study has responded, the response is published unedited.
Protocol 01 · drafted, registration pending[not yet on OSF]
Measuring delivered versus advertised mobile data volumes in The Gambia
An independent measurement platform for the relationship between purchased bundle volume and delivered application-layer bytes, across four mobile network operators. A difference between purchased and delivered volume is expected under every correct implementation. The study measures its size and reports the residual.
No findings yet
The protocol is drafted and registration is pending. Data collection has not begun. This entry exists so the method is public before any measurement. Findings, and any recommendations that rest on them, will be published here whether or not they show a discrepancy.

Report page anatomy
Layout placeholder01
Key chart first
The chart that carries the finding sits above the fold, with n, unit, method and date beneath it.
02
One paragraph
The finding in plain words, numbers before adjectives. No executive summary, no recommendations section unless a pathway exists.
03
Links out
PDF, dataset, method and preregistration, in that order, on every report.
04
Recommendations
Always after findings, never instead of them. Stated conditionally, naming the evidence each rests on. A report with no findings has no recommendations.
05
Right of reply
Where we studied a named organisation, its response is published here unedited, beside the finding and the recommendation rather than at the end.
